Lecture: Dr. Eric Goldman, Lens on Israel: A Society through its Cinema

Movies provide an ideal “lens” through which to understand Israel’s birth, growth and development as a country. Join film historian Eric Goldman, adjunct professor of cinema at Yeshiva University, as he explores the changing nature of Israeli society as reflected through its movies. The program will be preceded by a viewing of YUM’s exhibition City of Gold, Bronze and Light: Jerusalem between Word and Image, and will be followed by a reception.

Presented in memory of Eli Kleinman, z”l, by his children in tribute to his leadership and righteous deeds.
